Easter Blessings from our Staff!!

Please check out our church website, Uplandfumc.org for information about Holy week services or call the church office at 909 982-1345!

We return to school after spring break on Monday April 5th.  Tuesday the 6th through the 9th will be Teacher Appreciation days.  Covid restrictions keep us from doing group events for the staff.  Check out our web page, uplandpreschool.com, we have posted a list of our teacher’s favorite things!!  I invite you to check it out.  I am so proud of this staff for their devotion to going the “extra mile” and implementing all the Covid policies that have kept us safe this year!!

Graduation Pictures!  “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” is our theme for this year’s graduating class. On Tuesday, April 20th and Wednesday, April 21st we will be taking graduation pictures with our PreK graduating classes.

The TTH am class will be taken on April 20th during class time. The MWF am and TWTH PM will be taken on April 21st during class time.  The graduating children will take a class picture and an individual picture in front of the big red doors of the church.  The graduates will be wearing their graduation caps and tassels. A fee of $25 will be billed to your ProCare account for this event.  If you do not wish to be a part of it, please let the office know.  You will receive a link to the digital image so you can print and use as you wish.

Plans are still being decided on how we will celebrate our Graduates on May 26th & 27th!!  Stay tuned!!

New friends have joined the Yellow Apron class since our Fall class pictures. We will not be taking individual pictures, but a class picture will be taken and offered with their teachers.   The Yellow Aprons will be billed $10 to their ProCare account.  If you do not want the class picture, let the office know. This will also take place on April 20th and 21st.

April 21 and April 22, we will celebrate Earth Day!  It is never too early to talk to your preschooler about recycling and taking care of our planet.  We have implemented a new habitat area in the right-hand corner of our play area. We are making bird feeders from recycled items!  Children will have hands-on nature items.  Earth day is a great time to decorate rocks for our rock garden too.

Mark your calendars for Friday, April 30th!  ”Day in the Life of your Preschooler” Digital Open House!!

Sincerely,

Robin Kerber, Director
