March is here! Week one- we will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday and read some of his very special books along with some “Seussical” activities.

On Thursday, March 4th, there will be no school for the children. I will be calling each family at the time you signed up for, and we will discuss your child’s progress so far this school year. Please take a look at the preschool assessment I sent home last week before our conference time. I look forward to chatting with each of you! Your children are amazing and make me smile every day!!

The month of March will also include rainbows, leprechauns and gold! Don’t forget to wear green on Wednesday, March 17th– we may have some naughty leprechauns visiting our classroomJ.

The last week or so in March we will talk about the season of spring, and Easter. The children will paint bunny ears, decorate eggs and weave their own Easter basket. Spring break will begin on the 26th and we will be back in class on Tuesday, April 6th.

Please remember to “spring” ahead one hour on March 20th. With the extra sunshine and daylight hours, I hope your family will get outside and enjoy all of God’s beauty! Go for a walk, look at new flowers blooming, read a book together in the grass, plant a garden. So many fun things to do!!

May the luck of the Irish be with you this month!

Love,

Mrs. Nicholson and Ms. Brown
